An original portrait of a Buffalo Soldier is part of a large display of Black history memorabilia aboard the mobile Black history month truck by American Legacy Magazine, which came to the Oakland County Executive Building Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 to give office workers at the complex a chance to visit inside and see exhibits about the Buffalo Soldiers and other people who were trailblazers throughout the years. The traveling exhibit which has its home base in Madison Heights travels the country educating people about the history and importance of Black culture and their accomplishments in America.
